Faroe Time

A collection of exceptional timepieces, artfully designed in The Faroe Islands by Niels Lassen Arge. Drawing inspiration from the Faroese cultural heritage, each watch embodies thoughtful craftsmanship, from the elegant contours of the hands to the flawlessly finished crystal.

New designs!

The Faroe Time watches have been on the market for a few years, prompting the decision to introduce new designs.Three new timepieces have been introduced to the Knitting Pattern series, each crafted with a smaller case and encircled by finely set zirconia stones. The stones are carefully embedded rather than glued, ensuring both durability and superior quality. As with all Faroe Time designs, the watches are equipped with Swiss movement and sapphire crystal for lasting precision and clarity. The star motif, composed of fine stripes, is a tribute to the black stripes in the skirt of the traditional Faroese women’s national costume.

Sóljan, the National Flower
As something entirely new, a square design has now been created. A small and elegant women’s watch, adorned with inlaid zirconia stones for a subtle touch of brilliance. At the heart of the design lies a meaningful detail—the national flower of the Faroe Islands, the Sólja (marsh marigold), delicately placed on the second hand. Its name is thought to come from “sun and eye” or “sun and islands,” while in latin it translates as “yellow flower that loves wetlands.” The Sólja thrives particularly well in the Faroese wetlands and can be seen almost everywhere across the islands. Whether as sun-eyes or sun-islands, there is no doubt that this golden flower graces the Faroese landscape most beautifully in early summer. And now, the Sólja also adorns the new square Faroe Time watches.
